Arabic Course 2 is a structured online intermediate Arabic course designed for non-native speakers who already have a solid foundation in Arabic. It guides learners from intermediate to upper-intermediate level and is aligned with CEFR B1–B2 learning objectives. Explanations and translations are provided in English and Swedish.

The course is organized into structured modules. Each module contains several lessons, homework assignments, a discussion forum, and a wide range of interactive exercises. These activities develop and assess reading, writing, listening, vocabulary, grammar, and communication skills through varied and engaging methods.

Throughout the course, learners work with approximately 1,000 Arabic words and expressions. They expand their vocabulary, strengthen their knowledge of intermediate grammar, develop their understanding of verb conjugation and sentence patterns, and work with longer reading texts, dialogues, conversations, poetry, and songs.

Lessons and interactive exercises are supported by professionally recorded audio featuring several native Arabic speakers. These recordings help learners improve their pronunciation, strengthen their listening comprehension, and become familiar with different voices and natural dialogue situations.

By the end of the course, learners will be able to understand the main ideas of longer written and spoken texts on familiar subjects, participate in conversations with greater confidence and fluency, express opinions and provide simple explanations, and produce clear, connected texts. They will also be able to translate short passages with the assistance of a dictionary when needed.

The course requires approximately 100 hours of study and can be completed over one year, corresponding to an average of about two hours per week.

The course is self-paced, allowing learners to organize their studies according to their own schedules and study whenever and wherever it is convenient for them. Throughout the course, specialized academic supervisors monitor each learner’s progress, answer questions, and provide guidance whenever needed.
